The Mysteries of Chaco CanyonIn the northwestern corner of New Mexico there exists the remnants of an ancient civilization that developed architecture, engineering, social organization, mathematics, geomancy, cosmic astronomy and large-scale ritual to a high art. They may even have mastered the technologies of antigravity and time travel as well. The site of this extraordinary collective human experiment is Chaco Canyon. Though its symmetrical hallways, enigmatic towers, thousand-mile road system and spectacular circular kivas have stood silent for 900 years, their mysterious presence is ample evidence of powerful purpose and passionate intention.  Chaco
Canyon was no ordinary community of men, women and children seeking protection
from the elements. Rather it served as a 250-year exploration in meta-human innovation.
Each new village was purposefully crafted as a push-the-envelope, state-of-the-art
experiment in multidimensional human experience. The designers of Chaco configured
their massive stone geometry to amplify natural forces channeled from the canyons,
mesas and mountains that surrounded them. Each village was carefully positioned
to align with sun and moon and equinox and solstice cycles. Also, each village
was laid out along a complex, earth-energized power grid that was designed to
link earth with cosmos, thus enabling powerful natural forces to be harnessed
during ceremonial events. This synthesis of energized stone and high ritual enabled
the Chacoans to fully catalyze the psyearth reaction and supercharge their populace
into the ecstatic unification of soul with Source.
“There is a place, so the legends told, of an ancient race of people who lived in great houses of many stories and fantastic shapes and whose powerful civilization held influence far across a strange and forbidding desert land. Further, it was said, that the remnants of this once proud and mighty people could still be seen scattered about the mysterious landscape of mesa, canyon and badland in the region as yet unexplored and not detailed on any map.” The Chacoans were people much like us, but they elected to fuse their hearts, minds and spiritual intent together to achieve a quantum leap in consciousness. What’s important to us today is not what the Chacoans built — the material legacy of their culture — but rather the fact that they took the big leap forward. They journeyed fearlessly into sacred space, transected galactic time and never looked back. The southwestern Native American descendants of the Chacoan Anasazi still retain significant elements of the Chacoan multidimensional lifeway. The Hopi kachina dances are an example of the ancient connection established millennia ago between the invisible spirit world and the visible human world. But the richness of such interdimensional relationship is accessible to anyone with an open mind and heart and a willingness to cast off old patterns of lockstep adherence to contemporary culture. Though the original Chacoans have since departed to other realities, their example of the possible remains as a road map for like-minded others to fashion into a contemporary analog. Indeed, 3,000 men, women and children undertook a collective pilgrimage to Chaco Canyon during August 16 and 17th, 1987. Their goal: awakening to ancient memories and future visions and discovering their personal destinies through the experience of sacred space and time. This psycho-spiritual, metahistorical expression was called the Harmonic Convergence. It resulted in a moving and powerful affirmation of the human spirit, an expression of a longing to push the evolutionary envelope, and a desire to redirect the course of Spaceship Earth.
During those fateful days important seeds were planted, and some have sprouted and are bearing fruit in many individual lives. Harmonic Convergence set the stage for a new cycle of conscious clarity and multidimensional expansion. It’s our job now to heed the wakeup call and insure that this new beginning and conscious awakening is not stifled and snuffed by the forces that would prefer to continue with “destructive business as usual”. Harmonic Convergence demonstrated that it’s possible for people to come together globally for purposes other than war, and create profound shifts in human consciousness. And it’s highly likely that Earth itself is benefiting from the help of beings of various intelligences and their advanced technologies not sourced from our present-time reality. It’s clear now that things are approaching a furious climax, the likes of which this planet has not witnessed in historical times. And perhaps we are the "hot luminous tip" of the vortex of evolution as we speed headlong into the 21st century. It’s apparent that humanity has reached a critical transition zone. We are by default and conscious intention crafting the world we will soon inhabit. Our genetic coding informs us that survival is all important and that lockstep conformity insures our survival. But the hi-tech, economically unbalanced and physically unsustainable world of eight or ten billion people presents fundamentally different challenges to human survival than did the low-tech world of one billion people. Add to this the disempowered millions confined to a wretched state of living and the availability of highly destructive options and all the world’s people enter a dangerous, vulnerable, and volatile new reality. A new mode of human being is thus called for. A transition to a whole new level of thought, emotion, vibration and manifestation must occur. This transitional imperative will in turn trigger a restructuring of our belief systems, independent of our notion of survival. But how to get from here to there?
 1)
Hold the vision of a grateful, gracious and respectful collective human consciousness
that replaces the possessive, fear and survival-based mindset that is presently
dominant. 2) Cultivate an empowered, creative self in all its fullest, grandest detail without fear of limitation or the need to know how the transition will come about. 3) Engage in positive acts of service to others without expectation of reciprocity. 4) Infuse our consciousness with emotion, joy and passion, and 5) Send that vibration into the Universe for eventual manifestation. If enough people would employ this strategy, things will change. Like attracts like. Intentionally directed energy shifts consciousness and alters physical reality. As we restructure our collective belief systems, we will reformat our institutions as well. Indeed, groundbreaking scientific experiments conducted during the 1990s documented evidence of a kind of energy matrix, linking individuals and their lives with nature and Creation/Source in empowering ways. The findings revealed that: 1) We communicate with our world through a form of energy operating beyond the bounds of measured time and space. 2) Our DNA directly influences our physical world through energetic means previously unknown. 3) We influence our DNA through a nonphysical, non-local form of energy that is directly linked to human emotion. It may be true that the destiny of humanity is to discover its Source and serve as a conscious expression of the explorative nature of that Source, imbued with its capabilities. If so, then the transition from mind-body survival mode to sovereign, deliberate creator may become the ultimate expression of the human destiny.
